About the Role
This is a part-time position with opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, and advancement within our expanding network.
Coaches will lead two teams of eight players each (a total of 16 players), who will practice simultaneously. Practice will occur twice a week for a total of 3 hours (two practices of 1.5 hours each). All practices will occur after 4 PM on a weekday.
Twice a month the team will enter into a local tournament on a weekend, which will require the coaches' time for 6-8 hours.
Coaches will be provided with structured practice plans and online playbooks that they are expected to implement.
All games will be recorded, and the coach will be supplied with an automatic gimbal and stand to record the game, which they can use with their phone.
Travel may occur to another state for an end-of-season tournament, depending upon parent interest. Should it occur, accommodations are provided by WE.
Remuneration is approximately $30-36 per hour, with a monthly workload of around 24-28 hours.

YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead with STRIVE values in all aspects of coaching and communication.
Coach and develop players with a focus on fundamentals, teamwork, and leadership.
Communicate proactively with families about schedules, expectations, and updates.
Create a positive team culture where every player feels seen, heard, and valued.
Travel to local gyms and tournaments and manage all assigned team logistics.
Collaborate with WE management to ensure coverage and support at all events.
Represent Hoops World Elite with professionalism, energy, and heart.

· USA Basketball coaching license required
· NFHS Level One (1) coach certification required
· AAU registration preferred
· NCAA BCS registration preferred

We are a nationwide youth basketball organization specializing in Club (AAU) Teams, with a mission to elevate not only athletic performance but also character, leadership, and community.
